I am a Certified Yoga Therapist, E-RYT® 800 YACEP® C-IAYT with over a decade of teaching & leadership experience. Yoga and meditation swept into my life like a powerful wind of change. Starting my journey as a yoga teacher in 2010, I found myself facing my internal turmoil head-on during those initial years of teaching. Through this profound process, I not only discovered the strength to overcome substance use disorder and trauma but also unearthed a toolkit of tangible practices in yoga and meditation that became my guiding light to navigate daily living.
For over a decade now, I've been unwaveringly devoted to the transformative power of yoga. It's not just a passion; it's my purpose. My own journey of recovery has fueled my desire to share this transformative power with anyone seeking solace and healing. It's a privilege to walk alongside others on their paths to wellness, offering support and guidance born from personal experience.
I have been able to establish groundbreaking yoga programs tailored for mental health and recovery, delivered through my nonprofit management career. These programs have touched the lives of countless individuals, igniting sparks of hope and resilience. My yoga experiences extend across various yoga styles, from the intense heat of Hot 26 to the fluidity of Vinyasa to the nurturing embrace of Trauma-Informed Yoga and Yoga Therapy. I also have experience in crafting trauma-informed training and curriculum, ensuring that the healing potential of yoga reaches even the most vulnerable. In the quiet spaces of one-on-one sessions, my goal is to weave yoga therapy into personalized journeys of transformation, lighting the way for those seeking healing on an individual level.
